LandDev™ Scheduling

LandDev™ Scheduling comes with ready-to-use templates to help land developers establish job schedules, track progress and implement a true “management by exception” solution to control changes to schedules using the Variance Request feature.

The heart of the scheduling process is the use of the Microsoft Project Server. The system integrates schedules utilizing Microsoft Outlook and triggers calendar events sending “critical action” email reminders to any internal or external parties, as required.

This software solution offers ready-to-use scheduling templates for all aspects and phases of the land development process. These templates are used to create schedules for specific land acquisition, planning or construction projects. Your Project Managers are able to customize their schedules for exact situations on each project, so everyone can see how jobs are progressing, and what work is coming up next.

Variance Control Manages Schedule Changes

In order to initiate a change in the job schedule, Variance Requests are issued. This ensures the proper authorization process is in place to control and manage these changes.

LandDev tracks variances to schedule instantly and, when events refuse to line up with your plan, a Variance Request is prepared using Excel and email notification. Once approved, Purchase Orders are automatically sent to subcontractors. The system generates a detailed history showing exactly what has transpired from job inception to completion, with all related cost and timeline adjustments.
