This comprehensive document management solution allows for accessibility to original documents such as blueprints, photographs of progress throughout the construction process, correspondence and spreadsheets. With access to an Internet connection, any type of file is available from any location.
Any type of files may be stored, such as scanned images, pictures, word processing documents, spreadsheets or Adobe files. Attach them to a subfolder for easy retrieval or for distribution internally or externally. You may want to create your own sub-folder system on a job-by-job basis to further organize your documents. For instance, “Blueprints, Job Pictures, Contracts” are possible names for sub-folders.
With a scanner, documents originating as paper can be scanned and stored as an image. Directly upload digital photographs without having to print them on paper. Since the system intuitively knows all industry standard file types, when you need a document, the correct program is automatically selected with the corresponding picture and then displayed. In order to protect the privacy of these documents, outside vendors or staff may only gain accessibility using a security clearance.
